Safeguarding
The Nevis Aquatic and Sailing Center is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all participants, families, volunteers, coaches, and staff. We believe that everyone involved in our programs should be able to enjoy sailing and water sports in an atmosphere of respect, wellbeing, and safety.
Safeguarding is an essential part of creating a positive sporting environment. It helps protect children, young people, and vulnerable adults from harm, while promoting a culture where all individuals are treated with dignity and respect both on and off the water.
NASC has formally adopted the Safeguarding Policy of the St Kitts and Nevis Sailing Association and is committed to upholding the standards, responsibilities, and procedures outlined within that policy throughout all of our activities and programs.
We encourage all members of our community to familiarize themselves with the safeguarding information provided on this page, including our safeguarding contacts and official policy documents. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and we are committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all.
