THE BRING IT SWIM TEAM
RUN AND LED BY: COACH JAMES WEEKES

A PARTNER OF THE NEVIS AQUATIC AND SAILING CENTER, COACH JAMES BRINGS OUT THE BEST IN HIS YOUTH SWIMMERS, DEVELOPING AND DEFINING THEIR TECHNIQUE, AND KEEPING THEIR SPIRIT AND MENTAL ATTITUDE ON THE RIGHT PATH FOR SUCCESS.
Swimming is a skill that all should have, especially Nevisians, considering we are no more than fifteen(15) minutes from any beach.
IT CAN BE FUN
A day at the beach with family and friends enjoying the beautiful sand and sea without the fear or phobia of the ocean.
IT CAN BE A SPORT
Many of our youths have taken the step of making it a competitive sport to challenge themselves and fellow swimmers, locally, regionally and internationally, where the possibilities are limitless.
IT CAN SAVE LIVES
God forbid but because it is inevitable, the worst hit us at times. It is very comforting to know a swimmer is there to save someone in difficulty, knowing the life you save might be your own.
Come see us or call us, but whatever you do just BRING IT!
About Bring It Swim Team
Since 2011, the Bring It Swim Team has been dedicated to developing young swimmers in St. Kitts and Nevis. With a strong foundation in skill-building and competitive training, our swimmers have made waves locally and internationally — breaking national records and earning the honor of representing the Federation at major regional and global competitions. These include the OECS Swimming Championships, CARIFTA Aquatics Championships, Pan American Games, World Aquatics Championships, and even the Olympic Games.
A historic milestone was achieved when Coach James Weekes and swimmer Troy Nisbett became the first-ever Olympic representatives for St. Kitts and Nevis in the sport of swimming.
Local & Regional Competition
Bring It swimmers are active competitors in local open water events such as the St. Kitts Yacht Club’s Peninsula Swim and the Nevis to St. Kitts Cross Channel Swim. The team continues to dominate at local ocean pool swim meets held at Bird Rock Beach and Oualie Beach, consistently earning the coveted “Best Club” trophy.
In 2025, the team traveled twice to Barbados to participate in competitive swim meets, providing valuable experience in a high-level pool competition setting and further preparing our athletes for future success.
